Senior Account Manager

Our client is the Dutch subsidiary of a big European concern that furnishes organizations in the private and public sector with (cyber)security solutions & services. This to prevent cybercrime, data theft and data leak. It is a skilled cybersecurity-business unit and globally offers organizations managed security, manages threat detection & response-services. As the main security provider of Europe they aim for a more secure digital society. They are a threat researching and intelligence controlled security provider that offers unrivalled access to current and future threats. The company is ambitious and fast-growing, is with its specialty in cyber security leading in its sector and has a renowned market reputation. By carefully identifying security risks and combining eminent knowledge, smart ideas and technological opportunities, innovative solutions are being created, so this will take care of optimal secured business operations and procedures.
As a Senior Account Manager your goal is to manage Tier 1 customers on a strategic level in order to realize business at both new and existing customers. With this comes the responsibility for understanding customer’s needs and implementing new proposals to create and maintain long-term relationships. You are able to initiate and qualify new customers opportunities and increase installed base at existing customers. Generally, you will be aimed to increase the customers satisfaction, by both solution selling of products and consultative selling of (managed) services. You act as a relevant and truly trusted advisor to the customer preferably on C-level.
As a Senior account manager, you are skilled in translating customers’ ambition into strategy, making concrete action plans and getting things done. You are familiar customers in both government as B-to-B in traditional and high-tech manufacturing and services companies. A confident and resourceful personality (for external and internal purposes), easy connector, remains calm and achieves goals on short, mid-term and longterm period. The ideal candidate helps creating structure, brings positivism also in challenging situations. Gets energy from and uses creativity for new business development and expanding existing business in a dynamic and ambitious environment. Enjoys creating a positive team spirit and challenging each other to grow and achieve goals.

Furthermore, you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree (at least on Dutch HBO level)
  • At least 8 years’ experience in sales- and account management in IT or Cybersecurity
  • Personal track record in making business grow
  • Mature personality, communicate and feel comfortable acting on C-level
  • Take ownership and responsibility
  • Are fluent in Dutch and English, other languages are a plus
  • Committed to solution selling for products and consultative selling for services
  • Drive, ambition and talent to contribute substantially to commercial focus and innovation
